There was a great sense of achievement after our final performance at the end of an intense workshop last week. We had just finished studying and playing another challenging work: Tchaikovsky’s glorious Souvenir de Florence, arranged for string orchestra from the original sextet version. St Martin’s Church Kensal Rise was the spacious and welcoming venue for this year’s Nonesuch Workshop Day - and we were delighted to welcome friends old and new as guests at this hugely enjoyable session.
